Step 0 - decide

It's 4am and I want to turn the page. 

For the past weeks I've been slowly getting off my ass again, but I want a clear goal. This time, it will have clear, specific, measurable intermediate targets. 

So - let's sign up for a triathlon in September! 

It's 221 days to go. 

I haven't swum in ages, my (way too fancy) bike is collecting dust, and I'm too heavy to go running without getting injured. 

Sounds like a plan, eh? 

Besides this, I'm getting fed up with my job and I want to solve both problems in one go - stop identifying with a job and a career, focus on a larger goal as a side hustle, and see work as a means to make money for living. 

I can't do that without a big goal.

So Apeldoorn - and swimming pool, roads, gym and sidewalks - here I come!
